The DS7200 Handrail Scale offers all the same features and benefits of the DS7100 Handrail Scale, but the unique feature of the DS7200 is the single handle or grab bar just below the digital weight indicator. This design is ideal for bariatric patients and also allows patients to step on and step off the scale from the sides.

Weighing only 30 lbs, little effort is needed to move the scale around your healthcare or extended care facility. Tip the scale back on the two built-in, non-marking wheels and push the handrail scale to its new location. The large, low profile base has a non-skid surface.

For a busy hospital weighing a high volume of patients, Dorans Touchless Start feature acquires a patients weight in as little as two seconds without any buttons to press. Simply have the patient step onto the DS7200 platform and an accurate weight up to 1,000 pounds will be held on the display. Dorans Weight Lock feature allows an accurate weight to be held regardless of any movement of the patient.

A second weight can be taken by pressing the Reweigh button on the scales control panel while the patient is on the scale. Last Weight allows the previous weight and BMI value to be recalled after the patient has left the platform for later recording. To calculate BMI, enter the height using the scroll buttons, press the BMI button and the patients Body Mass Index is instantly displayed.

Optional USB and RS-232 communications options allow the recording of a patients weight and BMI value be sent to an optional printer or EMR system.
