• Freeze-drying and dehydration are methods used for preserving food by removing its moisture. However, both methods result in different textures and qualities of the final product. Freeze-drying can be easily hydrated, it produces a porous, lightweight product that retains much of its original flavor and nutrition. Dehydration on the other hand, takes longer to rehydrate and it produces a crunchy/chewy product.
• Foods are packaged in airtight Mylar pouches. These pouches are then arranged in durable polyethylene buckets for easy storage.
• Milk, soy, and wheat (gluten) are the common allergens found in ReadyWise products. For specific ingredients by product type please consult the nutritional labels.
