The GE Corometrics 170 series is used with GE's Nautilus watertight and lightweight Toco and 9-crystal Ultrasound transducers for comfortable and reliable monitoring.

Corometrics 170 Series Monitors are Equipped with Innovative 9-Crystal Ultrasound Transducers - a GE Exclusive. This capability helps ensure superior signal quality by maintaining a uniform beam pattern throughout its depth of penetration, thus minimizing the need for repositioning. A powerful clinical advantage is gained to assist you in challenging cases such as a preterm fetus or obese mother.

• Dual, 9-crystal Nautilus™ watertight ultrasound transducer permits external monitoring of twins using technology that minimizes the need for repositioning
• Independent volume controls facilitate easy transducer placement
• Nautilus watertight Toco transducer permits quick, external acquisition of uterine activity. Its flat-surface design means it won’t leave a mark on your patient
• Heart rate offset mode helps make it easy to visually distinguish between the heart rates of twins by allowing you to offset the secondary FHR by +20BPM
• Heartbeat coincidence recognition provides visual and audible indications when it detects synchronous fetal or maternal heart-rate signals, indicating that you may be monitoring a duplicate signal
• Remote event marker helps make it easy to annotate perceived Fetal Movements (FM) or other events on the strip chart
• Easy-to-load Z-fold paper stacks itself neatly upon exiting the recorder, facilitating easy storage
• Optional fetal movement detection algorithm automatically senses gross fetal movement and annotates its occurrence on the strip chart
• Fetal heart rate alarm provides both audible and visual alerts if the heart rate is outside of the user-defined high/low range
• Built-in dual digital interface seamlessly connects the monitor to a Clinical Information System as well as to selected external monitors – such as DINAMAP® non-invasive blood pressure monitors or maternal SpO2 and FSpO2 monitors
• Telemetry interface enables ambulatory monitoring while continuing surveillance. Used with the Nautilus watertight ultrasound and toco transducers, monitoring can even continue during hydrotherapy
